7th-12th graders, ready for an adventure? Join our TTRPG group for teens! All skill levels are welcome, just bring your imagination and we’ll provide the rest. Registration is required.
Murder Mystery at the Summer Block Party
Friday, June 12th, 6-8pm
The neighborhood of Sunny Lane is holding it’s annual summer block party, and you’re invited! The Home Owner’s Association is hoping that it will bring those neighbors engaged in conflict to a truce and bring peace to Sunny Lane. This year’s party host is Kris Angels, a professional magician who doesn’t typically invite guests over. You’ve received your invitation. This is where your story begins.

7th-12th graders, kick off your summer at the library with food, fun, and a mystery to solve! Registration is free, and required to participate in this event.
Teen Creativity Contest
Young Adult Advisory Board
Get involved in your library!
7th-12 graders, you’re invited to join the library’s Young Adult Advisory Board! This group meets with library staff throughout the year to share ideas for books, displays, and programs. YA Board members can also volunteer at library programs for all ages such as children’s storytimes, Summer Celebration, book sales, and the Teen Creativity Contest.
The YA Board will accept new member applications until May 31st. Only open to young adults who will be in grades 7-12 in the coming 2026-27 school year.

- Teen Creativity Contest 2023Hutchinson Public Library’s Young Adult Advisory Board announces the winners of its 27th annual Teen Creativity Contest. In the months of October and November, area youth were invited to submit their original work in the categories of art, photography, poetry, and short story writing.
