Teen Book Club
Next Meeting: Saturday, April 25th, 4-5pm

Are you a 7th-12th grader who loves to read? Join our Teen Book Club to explore new genres and connect with other young adult readers! You will have a month to read the featured book, then meet with the group for discussion, trivia, and snacks.

Grad Cap Decorating
Friday, May 1st, 4-5:30pm
The big day is almost here, and we know you’re excited. This year’s high school graduates are invited to come decorate a mini graduation cap keepsake, or, bring your own graduation cap to decorate (be sure to check your school’s policy). We will provide the mini graduation caps and decorating supplies. Bringing your own materials is allowed and encouraged as well.

7th-12th graders, ready for an adventure? Join our TTRPG group for teens! All skill levels are welcome, just bring your imagination and we’ll provide the rest. Registration is required.

The Young Adult Advisory Board is a group of area 7th-12th graders who serve the community and library by volunteering at programs and helping curate teen programs and services.
The YA Board will accept new member applications May 1st – June 30th

- Teen Creativity Contest 2023Hutchinson Public Library’s Young Adult Advisory Board announces the winners of its 27th annual Teen Creativity Contest. In the months of October and November, area youth were invited to submit their original work in the categories of art, photography, poetry, and short story writing.
