Being able to create, edit, and manipulate images on a computer is an essential skill for digital creatives. This workshop will get you started! Get ready to learn how to retouch photographs, adjust colors, combine images, and so much more! Whether you are preserving family photographs, creating fliers, or producing art, attend this event to get started.
- Moderate computer and basic reading skills are required. We will be using a three-button mouse, keyboard shortcuts with modifier keys, browsing the file system, and using specialized language for image-editing terms.
- You will need to know your email address and password. Creating a free account is required for the software we are teaching.
- Bring a USB flash drive to save your work.
- There is no cost to attend.
- No previous experience with image-editing software is required.
- Seats are limited, but this workshop will be offered regularly. If you can’t attend a scheduled workshop, please contact us to discuss alternatives.
- The Makerspace will be closed to other activities during this workshop.
