Art Talk with Hutchinson Community College
We are thrilled to host to host the Art Talk with HCC again this year!
The Art Talk is a special student-led journey back in time to explore the fascinating world of Neolithic Art. HCC art students will take the floor to share their insights and research on early human creativity; from monumental stone structures and ancient pottery to the very beginnings of visual storytelling. This collaboration is a beautiful bridge between campus and community, providing students with a valuable platform to practice presenting their voices and practice presenting, while offering library patrons a place to discover fresh perspectives and be part of inspiring conversations.
After the presentation, stick around for a fun, hands-on art activity inspired by Neolithic designs and techniques! No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play. Creative expression is more than a pastime; it connects us in ways beyond words. Let’s make art accessible, fun, and restorative together.
