Bring a batch of your favorite holiday cookies along with the recipe that goes with them to swap with fellow bakers and treat-lovers alike. \nAs we exchange cookies\, we’ll also share the stories and memories that make these recipes special. Whether it’s your grandmother’s ginger snaps or a new twist on a classic favorite\, every cookie has a story and sharing those stories with friends and neighbors brings us all a little closer.  \nEveryone will go home with a box of assorted holiday treats and the warm feeling of belonging that comes from gathering with friends and neighbors. DESCRIPTION:Visit the Makerspace for a demonstration of our machine-embroidery equipment! This is a two-part workshop where the scheduled event is a presentation-only walkthrough of an embroidery job\, then you can return at your convenience for hands-on experience.  \nWe will be showing an overview of how to digitize a design on the computer\, hoop your fabric and thread the embroidery machine\, customize the embroidery job on the machine\, and stitch-out your custom design. \n\nThere is no cost to attend. No previous experience is required.\nBasic computer and reading skills are required.\nSeats are limited\, but this workshop will be offered regularly.
