Kits include recipes from library books and a sample of Crushed Red pepper to add to your dish.  \nCrushed Red Pepper has many uses from adding a warm heat to homemade sauce to spicing up your meal as a condiment (like those pepper packets from your favorite pizza place).  \nTry the recipes included in the spice kit or browse the 641 section and pick a few for yourself! Share a photo of your delicious dinners on the library Facebook page and tell us how you and your family liked (or disliked) the new dishes.  \nSpice kits will be available all month until we run out.

Completing it gives you access to use our 3D printing equipment\, and you will make a small 3D print at no cost. \n\nThere is no cost to attend.\nBasic computer and reading skills are required.\nNo previous experience is required.\nSeats are limited\, but this workshop will be offered regularly. If you can’t attend a scheduled workshop\, please contact us to discuss alternatives.\nThe Makerspace will be closed to other activities during this workshop.\nYou may need to return later to pick up your completed 3D print\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT – PLEASE READ:\n\nYoung children must be able to understand written and verbal instructions unaided\, as well as use a desktop computer.\nEach individual attending will need a current Hutchinson Public Library Card. Student library cards are not valid for Makerspace workshops.

SUMMARY:Machine Embroidery Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Visit the Makerspace for a demonstration of our machine-embroidery equipment! This is a two-part workshop where the scheduled event is a presentation-only walkthrough of an embroidery job\, then you can return at your convenience for hands-on experience.  \nWe will be showing an overview of how to digitize a design on the computer\, hoop your fabric and thread the embroidery machine\, customize the embroidery job on the machine\, and stitch-out your custom design. \n\nThere is no cost to attend. No previous experience is required.\nBasic computer and reading skills are required.\nSeats are limited\, but this workshop will be offered regularly.
