DESCRIPTION:Spice of the Month is back! Our featured spice is white pepper. Pepper is one of the oldest spices in recorded history\, second to Cinnamon. That’s why we chose it! We thought it would be a perfect fit for our summer reading them\, Unearth a Story™. It’s all about the joy of discovery through reading and the stories waiting to be uncovered through books\, programs\, local history.\n\n \n\nOf course\, there are dinosaurs too. The library is full of them! Library staff have been busy decorated the entire library this year. When you stop in to get a spice kit\, take a walk around and check out all of the fun decor and sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge.\n\n \n\nWhat’s in the spice kit?\n\n \nInside the spice kit\, you’ll find a sample of white pepper. You’ll also discover unique Paleo recipe dupes of junk food favorites that can be modified to fit anyone’s taste. \n \n\nWhether you’ve wanted to try Paleo or clean-eating\, or just love to try new things\, this is a perfect curated experience for you!\n\n \n\nYou can find even more unique recipes in the stacks! Our cookbook sections has hundreds of thousands of new foods for you to discover.\n\n \n\nSpice kits are available all month at the public service desk while supplies last.

SUMMARY:3D Printing Certification
DESCRIPTION:We will soon require training to use our 3D printing services. This introductory workshop covers basic information to perform 3D printing projects. Completing it gives you access to use our 3D printing equipment\, and you will make a small 3D print at no cost. \n\nThere is no cost to attend.\nBasic computer and reading skills are required.\nNo previous experience is required.\nSeats are limited\, but this workshop will be offered regularly. If you can’t attend a scheduled workshop\, please contact us to discuss alternatives.\nThe Makerspace will be closed to other activities during this workshop.\nYou may need to return later to pick up your completed 3D print\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT – PLEASE READ:\n\nYoung children must be able to understand written and verbal instructions unaided\, as well as use a desktop computer.\nEach individual attending will need a current Hutchinson Public Library Card. Student library cards are not valid for Makerspace workshops.
