SUMMARY:3D Printing Certification
DESCRIPTION:We will soon require training to use our 3D printing services. This introductory workshop covers basic information to perform 3D printing projects. Completing it gives you access to use our 3D printing equipment\, and you will make a small 3D print at no cost. \n\nThere is no cost to attend.\nBasic computer and reading skills are required.\nNo previous experience is required.\nSeats are limited\, but this workshop will be offered regularly. If you can’t attend a scheduled workshop\, please contact us to discuss alternatives.\nThe Makerspace will be closed to other activities during this workshop.\nYou may need to return later to pick up your completed 3D print\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT – PLEASE READ:\n\nYoung children must be able to understand written and verbal instructions unaided\, as well as use a desktop computer.\nEach individual attending will need a current Hutchinson Public Library Card. Student library cards are not valid for Makerspace workshops.

DESCRIPTION:It’s Crafternoon! One Friday a month we host a craft hour in the sun room on the second floor. Explore a simple but adorable craft to decorate your space. Whether that be your room\, office\, or bookshelf.  We’ll try out viral craft trends together\, explore DIY books and library resources you can use to bring your creativity to life!  \nThis month we are decorating clay ghosts. You may have seen videos of adorable ghosts decked out with flowers and patterns. We’ll use glue and paintbrushes to decorate them. At the end of the program\, you’ll take your handcrafted ghost home with you and hopefully inspiration to continue crafting on your own. \nSpace is limited – Please RSVP to let us know you’ll be there!
