Book Discussion Groups

Book discussion groups are a great way to connect with others, talk about or learn more about what you are reading, or to try reading something different.

Sci-Fi

We've changed our Meeting Date

The Sci-Fi Book Discussion Group meets on the second Thursday of each month to discuss a work of science fiction or fantasy. We have informal discussions in a friendly atmosphere. The group selects the list of titles and where to meet. We read everything from hard science fiction to fantasy, traditional formats to graphic novels, and occasionally even watch a film adaptation for comparison. Direct questions to Gregg Wamsley or Steve Westfahl.

Holiday Change - The SIFI group will not meet in December.  Our next meeting is January 9th at 7:00pm.

January 9th,  2020 at 7:00 pm in Conference Room 1

We will discuss LEVITHAN AWAKES - THE EXPANSE BOOK 1 by James S.A. Corey.  The group usually meets at Carl's Bar around 5:00 pm for food and drinks.  Book discussion is at 7:00 pm at the library.
