Book Discussion Groups

Book discussion groups are a great way to connect with others, talk about or learn more about what you are reading, or to try reading something different.

Sci-Fi

We've changed our Meeting Date

The Sci-Fi Book Discussion Group meets on the second Thursday of each month to discuss a work of science fiction or fantasy. We have informal discussions in a friendly atmosphere. The group selects the list of titles and where to meet. We read everything from hard science fiction to fantasy, traditional formats to graphic novels, and occasionally even watch a film adaptation for comparison. Direct questions to Gregg Wamsley or Steve Westfahl.

September 12th, 7:00 pm Conference Room 1   (DATE CHANGE)

We will discuss SEMIOSIS by Sue Burke.  The group usually meets at Carl's Bar around 5:00 pm for food and drinks.  Book discussion is at 7:00 pm at the library.

Mystery Mavens

The Mystery Mavens get together once a month to discuss a book. This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in Conference Room #2 on the second floor of the library. Contact Steve Westfahl for more information.
