The Hutchinson Public Library is offering a “Cooking with Computers” class, just in time for the holidays. It will be offered twice; on Wednesday, 12/4/13, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, 12/5/13, from 9:30 am to 11:30 a.m. The class is free and will be held in the training lab at the library, located at 901 N. Main. Registration is required because space is limited.
During the holidays, most people will be spending more time in the kitchen than normal, and technology is a great kitchen companion. This class will demonstrate multiple websites that are a great resource for beginning and experienced cooks. Find recipes, create shopping lists, get details on subsitutions and even find copy-cat recipes for some of your restaurant favorites.
The class is being taught by Patsy Terrell, who has been writing a cooking column in Kansas Country Living for almost 20 years. Beginning or novice cooks and computer users welcome!
