Monty Harper Performs for Families

Harper2012BrezThe Hutchinson Public Library is hosting musician Monty Harper on Monday, June 10th, at 2 p.m. in the auditorium. He will perform, “Dig Into Reading,” designed for children ages 4-12 and their families.

Harper uses humor to delight audiences with this interactive sing-along concert. Song topics include gardening, dinosaurs, pirates and more.

He has been entertaining children for two decades, instilling a love of books, science and learning. “It’s so important for kids to love reading,” says Harper. “I try to convey my own exuberance for books and libraries through the songs.”

Harper’s performance is free and just one of the activities designed for children and young adults at the Hutchinson Public Library. For more information, call 620-663-5441 or check hutchpl.org.
