Eating from the Garden "Elements of Cooking" Program

“Literary Elements” is the adult summer reading program theme at the Hutchinson Public Library and is open to adults ages 18 and older. The 2014 program combines science and literature in a variety of activities sure to pique your interest, including a reading incentive program, weekly prize drawings, and “Elements of Cooking” cookbook discussions and food related informational gatherings.

peasThe next informational program will be Thursday, July 17. Pam Paulsen with the Reno County Extension Service will be on hand to speak about "Eating from the Garden". On July 24, there will be a cookbook discussion featuring salads and vegetable dishes. Both programs will be held in the second floor library auditorium from 2:00-2:45 p.m.

All gatherings are free and open to the public. For more information or to register for the cookbook discussion on July 24, call Annette at the library, 620-663-5441, ext. 132, or e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
