The Friends of the Hutchinson Public Library is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the library. Most volunteer functions revolve around the organizing and selling of donated books in the Friends' book store or during big book sales.
Typically volunteers work in the Friendshop book store selling books. Other opportunities include sorting books, preparing them for sale, setting up, working, and tearing down periodic big book sales. Still more opportunities are available in helping to guide the Friends organization by serving on their board of directors.
