There are hundreds of great applications (apps) that can make your computer work harder for you. Applications can help you do everything from keep a grocery list to schedule a family reunion. We’ll look at Ten Apps you can use for free that will improve your computer experience.

“Cloud Computing” is something you’ve probably heard of. This class will explain what the cloud is and why you want to use it. We’ll start with the basics and go from there. The cloud can help you get even more out of your computer.

Thursday, February 20, 10-11:30 a.m.
Keep your computer working well, and use it wisely. We’ll talk about passwords – how to choose good ones and why you shouldn’t use the same one for everything. Backing up is a critical part of any good system and we’ll discuss that. We’ll also talk about some basics of how to keep your system in good working order.
